ALT MOVIE ART

A collection of alternative movie posters, produced sporadically since 2015, available in print since 2025. 

Reappropriated well known artworks are used as the underlying image for Hollywood movie alt-art posters, with the original movie logo and tag-line added on top.

Each artwork's connection with the movie varies; some are literal such as 'Ceci N'est Pas Une Pipe' being used for 'This Is Spinal Tap'. And some are abstract, Degas' 'Woman When Washing' being used for 'Terminator 3' because the woman washes in the same pose as a Terminator time-travels (both designs to be released soon).

Everyone has their favourite but few understand all of them - email me if you need an explainer for the more abstract connections...
